PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Runs semi automatic or full manual. The rare bike a kid can grow into instead of out of.
| Rider | Our call: 11 and up, moving off automatics |
|---|---|
| Seat height | 30.7 inches (780 mm) |
| Transmission | Semi automatic or full manual, your choice |
| Parental controls | None. Running it semi automatic first is the control. |
Rider age is our recommendation, not the manufacturer's. Coolster does not publish a recommended age for this model, and we would rather give you our honest read than leave the row blank. Seat height and transmission are straight off their spec sheet. Our size guide walks the whole thing through in two minutes.
Coolster lists the clutch as semi automatic and or manual, which means this bike can be set up either way. Start a rider without a clutch lever, then give them one when they are ready, on the same machine.
That is genuinely unusual at this price and it is the reason this bike is on the site. Most families buy twice. This one buys you two or three seasons.
Who this one is for
A rider who is past the beginner bikes and heading toward a manual, roughly eleven and up at 30.7 inches of seat. Also a decent light trail bike for a smaller adult.

Questions people actually ask
It says semi automatic and or manual. What does that mean?
Coolster builds this platform both ways and lists both on the spec sheet. Tell us which setup you want when you order and we will confirm what is available before we ship. This is the single most useful question to call us about.
Why buy this over the QG-214-2?
Bigger engine, more low end torque, a lower 30.7 inch seat and the option to run it without a clutch. It is the easier bike of the two and the better choice if your rider is still learning.
How long will a kid ride this before outgrowing it?
Two to three seasons is typical, which is unusually good. The clutch option is why: you keep the same bike and change how it is set up as they improve.
