PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Nine colorways, a 24 inch seat and a genuinely capable 120cc automatic. The one most families land on.
| Rider | Our call: 10 and up, some experience |
|---|---|
| Seat height | 24.4 inches (620 mm) |
| Transmission | Fully automatic, nothing to shift |
| Parental controls | Adjustable throttle limiter is standard on youth ATVs under the CPSC youth standard. We confirm it on your unit before it ships. |
Rider age is our recommendation, not the manufacturer's. Coolster does not publish a recommended age for this model, and we would rather give you our honest read than leave the row blank. Seat height and transmission are straight off their spec sheet. Our size guide walks the whole thing through in two minutes.
Coolster badges this one 3125 and prints 120cc on their own spec sheet. Both numbers are on this page because you should not have to dig for that.
What you are actually getting is a step up from the mini quads: bigger 16 inch tires, a 140mm ground clearance that clears real ruts, and a 620mm seat that still lets most ten year olds get their feet down. It is the machine that stops being outgrown after one season.
Who this one is for
Riders roughly ten and up who have ridden something before, or a tall beginner with an adult standing right there. If your rider is under about four foot four, start with the 3050B2.
What you get
- 120cc single cylinder four stroke, air cooled, fully automatic
- Electric start, 12V 5Ah battery, CDI ignition
- 24.4 inch seat height
- 5.5 inch ground clearance, 16 x 8 tires front and rear
- Hydraulic disc rear brake, drum front
- Nine photographed colorways including three Spider graphics and three Army trims. Coolster lists an Army Black but has published no photography for it, so it is not listed here. Ask us if you want it.
- Chain drive, rear wheel drive

Every figure above is copied from Coolster's own published specification table for model ATV-3125R, read on 28 August 2026. Where a metric value was published we added the imperial conversion in brackets and changed nothing else. Manufacturer reserves the right to change specifications without notice.
Questions people actually ask
Why does it say 3125 if the engine is 120cc?
Because the model number is a product name, not a measurement. Coolster's own spec sheet says 120cc and we print it right on this page. Every brand in this category does the same thing. We would just rather you heard it from us.
What is the difference between this and the 3125R2?
The R is the bigger machine. Longer wheelbase, 16 inch tires, 5.5 inches of ground clearance and a 24.4 inch seat. The R2 is a mini frame with a slightly larger 125cc engine and a lower 23.6 inch seat. Taller rider, buy the R. Smaller rider, buy the R2.
Are the Spider and Army colors just graphics?
Yes, the machine underneath is identical. Pick whichever one makes your kid grin.
Can an adult ride it?
Briefly and gently, around a field. It is a youth machine and the geometry is wrong for a full sized adult. If you want one for yourself, look at the 3200S.
